Can’t I just get enough anti-oxidants in my diet so that I do not need supplements?

There are doctors and nutritionists who feel that you can get everything that you need from your diet. There are others who feel that supplements are essential. My personal belief is that the supplements certainly cannot hurt. Almost all of the best sources are found in foods that usually are cooked. Much of the nutritional value can be lost with cooking, so supplements could be even more important than the nutritional sources because they are not altered by cooking.
